Late Post: FNU Open Day 2025 – A Visit to the College of Agriculture 🐐🌾

 Apologies for the late post — but this one’s too good not to share! During the FNU Open Day 2025, the College of Agriculture put on an impressive and lively display that truly captured the essence of this year’s theme: “Crafting Futures Together.”

Their booth was a mini farm experience, complete with giant freshwater prawns, clucking hens, fluffy ducklings, and even a black-and-white goat proudly showing off beside a milk can. The setup drew plenty of attention (and smiles!) from visitors who got to see firsthand how agriculture connects to sustainability, innovation, and Fiji’s everyday life.

Students and lecturers from the College were on hand to share insights into animal care, farming techniques, and how agriculture continues to shape our communities and economy.

Though this post comes a little late, the excitement and inspiration from that day are still fresh. The College of Agriculture’s display was a wonderful reminder that farming is not just a tradition, it’s our future. 🌱💚

Countdown to FNU Open Day 2025 🎉

Bula everyone! 🌺 We are now just two days away from one of the biggest events on the Fiji National University calendar—the FNU Open Day 2025 ! This year, it’s extra special because it will run for three full days, from October 2nd to 4th . The excitement is already in the air. Walking around campus, you can feel the buzz, colorful banners are going up, booths are being set, and students (like me!) are getting ready to showcase what makes FNU such a vibrant and unique place to study.
