Countdown to FNU Open Day 2025 🎉

Bula everyone! 🌺 We are now just two days away from one of the biggest events on the Fiji National University calendar—the FNU Open Day 2025! This year, it’s extra special because it will run for three full days, from October 2nd to 4th.

The excitement is already in the air. Walking around campus, you can feel the buzz, colorful banners are going up, booths are being set, and students (like me!) are getting ready to showcase what makes FNU such a vibrant and unique place to study.

So, what can you expect from Open Day this year?
✨ Program Showcases – Each school will have interactive displays, giving visitors a chance to see what different fields of study are all about.
✨ Student Performances – From cultural dances to music, there will be plenty of entertainment highlighting FNU’s diversity.
✨ Campus Tours – A chance to explore the learning spaces, meet lecturers, and get a feel of university life.
✨ Future Pathways – High school students will get firsthand guidance about programs, career opportunities, and scholarships.

For us final-year students, Open Day is more than just welcoming future students, it’s a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come. I still remember attending Open Day when I was in high school, walking from booth to booth, wide-eyed and excited. Now, to be on the other side, helping showcase the Media and Communication program, feels like a full-circle moment.

Whether you’re a student, parent, or just curious about what FNU has to offer, I highly recommend coming along. It’s not just informative, it’s fun, inspiring, and a true celebration of education in Fiji.
